EDF Triathlon
Since 2006, The EDF Alpe d’Huez Triathlon has become one of the major races on the French and foreign triathletes’ agenda.
Some of the world’s best triathletes such as Chrissie Wellington (winner in both 2007 and 2008) have run it. Chrissie Wellington declared: “I love running races with beautiful scenic routes. In no other place could I find a better setting” and Julien Loy, 2007 and 2008 Long Distance Triathlon World Champion, stated: “The same sensations are felt by all, whether this is your first race or if you are an experienced runner: you’re simply overwhelmed by the beautiful course settings”.
