The Harper Brothers are playing tonight at The underground Bar. Not quite in the format depicted here though, Clint Bastard has gone back to his marsupial handler job, so drums are now by Ash Strain, who everybody knows and Mike Sukov is now replaced with Colbo Codders of Doomsville.
Expect the usual highly entertaining rubbish from about 11pm onwards. Slammadammadingdong!

Alpe d'Huez Hotel
The featured Alpe d’ Huez hotel, Le Chamois has had some interesting reviews on Google Maps.
Dave Turner: Positive! “Staff very helpful both prior to the stay with travel information and during the stay. Food good for breakfast and evening meals good value. …”
R Lomas: “I can say that out of all the Alpe d’Huez hotels I have stayed in, Hotel Le Chamois is the most fun place I have ever stayed in. The staff are friendly, funny and super-helpful. Katy on reception is superb and Helena is so much fun. The Underground Bar below the hotel has to be one of the most characterful bars in the Alps. I’ve visited Hotel Le Chamois numerous times this season and always had a fantastic (albeit somewhat drunk!) time.”

A number of us stayed at this hotel in Jan 2008 and had a FANTASTIC time!The hotel is spectacularly situated within the resort – on the ‘doorstep’ of :the nursery slopes – great for beginners and kiddies lift links to all of the ski areas – definately my favourite Alpe d’Huez Hotel…

Alpe d’Huez EDF Triathlon

This 4th anniversary sees the arrival of IMG, the world’s premier and most diversified sports, entertainment and media company which will work closely with Cyrille Neveu, the co-founder of the race. The EDF Alpe d’Huez Triathlon is the latest addition to the catalogue of events owned by the IMG « Mass Participation Sports » division, along with the London Triathlon, N°1 triathlon in the world (13000 competitors), the Blenheim Triathlon (5000 participants) and the Stockholm and Barcelona triathlons.
The goal of this joint venture is to make of the EDF Alpe d’Huez Triathlon the not-to-be-missed event by the world’s best runners of long distance triathlons.
