Travel and transport details for getting to Alpe D’Huez, France

By Air

There are a number of “budget airlines” which fly direct to Lyon (St. Exupery), Grenoble and Chambery Airports from a selection of British cities and towns.
From these airports the transfer options to get you to Alpe D’Huez are regular and straightforward and with a certain amount of planning when choosing flights you can reduce unnecessary hanging around. Self Drive

Journey time from the channel coast to Alpe d’Huez is approximately 9.5 hrs taking the Motorways which do have a Toll/charge in France. The cost is approx £40 to use the motorways from the coast to Grenoble.
